DAY 5: 2/18/09
Well today my cold was really kicking in. Can add a soar throat and cough to the list. But i soldiered on. It was a very lazy day. basically spent the whole day on the beach. I did a lot of sleeping on the beach. got up every once and a while to step into the ocean and stuff. Watched the Pelican for a while. The would sit on the broken pier and then dive into the ocean to catch the fish. At least i was entertained i guess. Mainly it was sleep while listening to Ipod for me and Deanna would read her book. We were actually lucky enough to get one of the nice bed type things under the hut. They where very comfy. i had no problem sleeping on those. My parents daily routine would have them meet us at the beach eventually. Dad would go sailing. I did not sail with him today though. Mom also found the only heated pool in the resort so she enjoyed spending time there as well. The rest of the pools are like ice water. Not really ourthing. after the beach there was the 6pm cocktail hour of course. We always did the cocktail hour by the bar located outside the theater. The theater was where the nightly shows where held. We all did diner at the Toscana, which is an inside (more fancy) Italian restaurant. The food was very good. We got done with diner sort of early. The main show wasn’t going to start for another hour. Deanna thought it would be best for me to go to the room and rest up before the show. Well needless to say once i layed down that was pretty much the end of the night for me. Never made it to the show. I felt bad about being sick, didn’t want to ruin anyones vacation. Everyone informed me it was OK, and they where having a great and relaxing time. Whew!!!
