Pumpkins Weekend!

This past weekend was a pumpkin filled weekend.  on Saturday we all went to the Pumkin farm.  Elly had a lots of fun.  They had  petting zoo with goats, donkeys, chickens, turkeys and more.  We then went on a hay ride around the farm.  They had a corn maze that we will do next year.  Think Elly was a little to young and Daddy didn’t want to carry her through the maze.  Finally we picked out our pumpkins.  On Saturday the whole family (even Toby) went to Tracy’s to carve our pumpkins.  Here are a bunch of pictures from the weekend. Samuel Evan Pede

Well our new family member finally arrived.  Samuel Evan Pede was born August 14th at 8:53am.  He was 6lbs-6oz and 19in long.  Below are a just a few pictures from his 1st few days along with a video taken of him with his sister.  I have written a “story” about his 1st few days along with all the pictures taken. click HERE to read story and see all the pictures

Betty Brinn Childrens Museum

Last Monday on day 3 of our vacation time we took Elly to the Betty Brinn Childrens Museum in downtown Milwaukee.  Just like the zoo she was a little overwhelmed by her surroundings at 1st.  She started to settle in as the day went on.  It seemed she may have been a little young to understand some of the things there.  She did find a few favorite spots.  She loved jumping on the peddles by the Geyser.  Which made the Geyser work and light up.  She also really enjoyed working on the car with Daddy.  It was a new experience for all 3 of us.  At least now we know what to expect for the next time.  We had to take the pictures with our blackberries as we did not bring the camera.  Here are a few of the better shots.  Click HERE to see all the pictures from the day

Waukesha Fair

Last Friday on the 2nd day of our vacation we too Elly to the Waukesha County Fair.  We meet up with Grandma and Grandpa there as well.  We saw the Tiger’s perform 1st.  Then went on to see all the farm animals.  One of the favorites was getting to ride the Pony.  She smiled and giggled the whole time.  It was at the fair that we discovered that Elly loves corn on the cob. Mommy barely got to eat any of her own corn.  After dinner we of course had to go play games, Where Elly won her 1st Goldfish which is if course she named Nemo (side note, She shook the bag a lot and the fish only lasted 3 days, we have since replaced him!).  Below are some pictures form the Day with a video of her riding the Pony after.  Click HERE for all other pictures of the day
