Zoo Trip

Last Thursday on our 1st day of Vacation we took Elly to the Zoo.  She was a little overwhelmed with the animals and people at 1st.  Not really sure what to do.  Didn’t really look at the animals a while lot.  Would see a monkey and immediately say she wanted to see more monkeys without really watching the one in front of her.  She did settle down and get more comfortable as the day went on.  The big hits of the day was the playground area inside the childrens farm area, along with the goat feeding area.  We spent a great deal of time in these 2 spots.  Here are  few of the pictures from the Day along with a video at the end of post.  You can see all Zoo pictures HERE

Iron Maiden

On the 4th Kevin and I went to summerfest to see Iron Maiden.  They don’t come to Milwaukee often so we jumped at the chance.  It was a HOT day but it was well worth it.  We had tickets for the pit so we lined up at the Marcus early for the mad dash to get as close to the barrier as possible.  We ended up in a good spot, 2nd row.  I was able to get some close pictures.  Some turned out better than others. I was taking them with a blackberry camera.  Alice Cooper opened and he was very entertaining.  Iron Maiden was awesome.  They played a great energetic show.  Everything about the show was perfect.  Hopefully I don’t have to wait another 12 years for them to come back to this area.  Here are a few of my better pictures of the show.  You can see them all by clicking HERE

Brody’s Baptism

A week ago we saw our little Nephew Brody get baptized.  He did very well.  Elly even got to help carry the money basket to the front of the church.  Which she tried to bring to me instead.  Such a smart girl.  Here are a few of the pictures.  You can see all the Pictures from the day by clicking HERE
